Sacred Compositions
The pieces listed below were written for performance in sacred settings. Each piece includes a recording of a sample accompaniment.
Magnificat
Written for the congregation of St. John's Episcopal Church - Tower Grove, this Magnificat was debuted in January 2024. As part of the Unison Evening Service in D-flat, it was conceived to be sung by a flexible choir of mixed voices in unison. The range is not prohibitive, and the organ part is able to be played successfully on multiple instruments. A recording of the accompaniment can be found here. A score preview can be found here.
Nunc Dimitis
Written in the summer of 2025 for Connor Scott at Christ Church Cathedral, St. Louis, this piece rounds out the Unison Evening Service in D-flat. A simple setting of the Nunc Dimitis, this works well for untrained voices in a simplified evensong. A recording of the accompaniment can be found here. A score preview can be found here.
